Skiing

Some Colorado ski resorts are expected to be open by the date of the conference. A-Basin and Loveland have some lifts open already, and Keystone is opening November 3 due to the recent snowstorm. For up-to-date information about snow conditions, and for deals on lift tickets and travel, we suggest OnTheSnow.com. See also ColoradoSki.com.

Hiking

The Boulder Open Space & Mountain Parks website provides a great deal of information about hiking in and around Boulder, including a listing of area trails. Of particular interest is Chautauqua Park, which is quite near to the University of Colorado campus, and offers easy hiking and beautiful scenery.
