You will fly in or out of Denver International Airport (DIA). Driving time between DIA and Boulder is approximately 60 minutes.
Non-toll road (slower, more traffic, unattractive) direction are: From DIA, follow Peña Boulevard (10 miles) south to I-70, and exit onto I-70 west. Follow I-70 west to I-270 west. I-270 merges into U.S. 36 west and takes you west into Boulder (about 23 miles). Once you're in Boulder, take a left (west) on Colorado Avenue, turn left onto Regent Drive, and left into parking lot 436. You must have a parking permit to park here (See the parking information section).
Toll road (which is faster, prettier, and fewer miles) directions are: From Pena Boulevard out of the airport, take the E-470 Tollway North exit (6B) toward Fort Collins. E-470 becomes Northwest Parkway West – keep going (do NOT exit onto I-25). When the Parkway ends, it becomes Storage Tek Drive/South 96th Street – stay on this by bearing left – take the exit onto US 36 West toward Boulder – 36 will become 28th Street once you enter Boulder. Take a left (west) on Colorado Avenue, turn left onto Regent Drive, and left into parking lot 436. You must have a parking permit to park here (See the parking information section).
