About FireWxNet

Results
The following files contain the data traces obtained from the FireWxNet Deployment, separated by the areas of deployment:
[ Hell's Half Acre ] - [ Kit Carson ]

Notes
  • The network at Hell's Half Acre recorded no data on 9/4 from 14:49 to 15:34 due to a problem with the base station. Due to a faulty sensor package node 20 reported 0 for all weather data from initial deployment until 9/5 at 13:00 when the sensor package was replaced.
  • The network at Kit Carson recorded no data on 9/4 between 10:47 and 18:37 due to a problem with our base station.
  • The RH sensor peaked at 90% due to our hardware configuration. The RH was calibrated to be more accurate at RH less than 30%, which was more important for our work.
  • A DTB of 255 means the node had not heard a control packet in the specified time and was trying to reconnect to the network but still sending data packets.
  • There was a bug which sometimes caused nodes to report impossibly high wind values when the nodes first woke up. Those values may be discarded. The other wind values we believe to be accurate.

  • last — last node which transmitted this packet
  • temp — Fahrenheit
  • RH — %
  • wind_dir — 0-360 degrees
