The MANTIS group is focused on research in the area of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) and is located in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder. We have developed the open source MANTIS OS (MOS), which is an embedded multi-threaded operating system for resource-constrained sensor nodes. MOS is easily programmed using a C API. We have developed applications such as FireWxNet, a fire weather WSN, on MOS.
